On July 14, 2023, the Ambassador of Samoa to Japan, H.E. Faalavaau Perina Jaqueline Sila-Tualaulelei attended the closing ceremony of the 2023 Sakura Science High School Program held in Osaka.
The Sakura Science High School Program is an Exchange Program administered by the Japan Science and Technology Agency since 2014, in which high school students are invited for short-term stays in Japan to broaden their experience in the field of science and technology.
This year a total of (8) participants (6 students and 2 supervisors) from Samoa participated in the Sakura Science High School Program in Osaka, Japan from the 09th to 15th July 2023.
